Let’s start our vocal workshops again!
In 20 years of creating workshops, I’m hungry again for the experience! I’m going to start off doing a few with me as the clinician, and then roll into some guest clinicians.
This will obviously be a different format, different dynamic than being together in person. But let’s go for it! I’ve reduced the cost so we can feel it out together.
In this time period, we all need something to be creative with. We all have a voice to make sounds with. Some of us become singers, because we desire it or because we are able to do it. We are fortunate enough to use music and singing for our own personal path in life growth. And jazz makes it even better.
What helps us to sing? What actions can we understand and practice to improve this path? We need actions that can be practiced over and over, to become part of our DNA. These actions might include: Philosophy or point of view, voice technique, groove, intonation, vocal tone, picking songs that really work for us, being the artist that you are, phrasing, scatting, singing the 2nd time through the song… There are many ideas that can help!
Let’s work on this together! I look forward to speaking, singing, and finding out what YOU need and want and think…
