"Laura Lee" (original). Music by Brian Seeger, Lyrics by Cindy Scott. Lyrics are based on letters that I had from an ancestor who fought in the Civil War. To me, it's a very soft anti-war song. My lyrics are from the perspective of the soldier who just wanted to go home to his loved ones. Too bad the letters were lost in the flood waters of Hurricane Katrina.
